Problem
You are a Staff member and have received an email telling you that other emails are being held in quarantine for you to review. You want to know how to access these quarantined emails, and either release them or block them from future sending.
Solution
Use an incognito window (chrome) or an inPrivate window (edge) in your browser to access the quarantined emails.
Steps:
When you see and email that looks something like:
You would assume you could just click the "Review" button, and the Quarantine Page would open. But it doesn't work out. Unfortunately, the browser (chrome or edge) tries to log in using our Kambrya account (abc@kambryacollege.com) login. This is the wrong account, the browser needs to login with your DET account.
The workaround is to use an incognito window (chrome) or an inPrivate window (edge):
- Right-click on the Review button and choose "copy link"
- Open an incognito window (chrome) or and inPrivate window (edge). This can be done by going the the triple-dots up the top-right corner of the window.
- left-click in the bar at the top of the browser window and paste the link (from 1.)
- Enter your department login details (ie. first.last@education.vic.gov.au)
- The quarantine page will now open.
