Problem:

You are a student, and your teacher has given you a CAT as a .pdf file. You want to annotate the file (i.e. make changes like circling multiple choice answers, highlighting text, or adding some text). 


Solution:

Students can annotate .pdf files using Adobe DC. This means students can:

  1. Add text

  2. Highlight parts of the .pdf with a highlighter or a circle

  3. Add a tick or a cross

Often students will be given a CAT as a .pdf file. This is a common type of file that is easy to share because its size is small, and it can't easily be edited.

Steps:

Students can download and install Adobe DC from Adobe's website. The steps are:

  1. Go to: https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/download/creative-cloud

  2. Sign in to the Creative Cloud with you EDU login. You can ask your teacher for your EDU login, or email IT support on support@kambryacollege.com

  3. Download Adobe DC and install. Skip all the questions.
